I think Ive hit the point where LotsOMobs is completed. There are now 55 real life animals in LotsOMobs. Thats a lot, and covers a good part of the max amount of Entity IDs that can be registred. LotsOMobs also adds a ton of items and blocks. The new biomes and the Dimensions have expanded the habitats for minecraft mobs. So from now on, there won't be new features added to LotsOMobs.
However, I will not abandon it. When Minecraft gets a new update, LotsOMobs will of course follow. And when I have time, I will work on improving the current features with new models, textures, AI and so on. And there is no such thing as a bug free mod, so I will continue to chase the bugs.
This update contains a few fixes:
- Fixed the Salt Bath error message popping up.
- Deleted old debug messages that spammed the console and logs.
- Made the version number nicer
- Support for the LotsOMobs, Extended Villages add-on
- And fixed a couple of bugs regarding the config failing to save
The last few weeks, Ive recieved some messages about incompatibility with Custom NPCs. I have no idea why this is happening. All LotsOMobs IDs are either configurable, or have a method from Forge to pick a free ID. The problem could be the max amount of EntityIDs allowed, and then there is only 1 solution. Use the config to turn off some mobs.
Hope you enjoy LotsOMobs
